Did you know that lips are made of thinner skin than the rest of your skin that covers your face?
Lip skin does not have a protecting layer of sweat and body oils that keep skin smooth; for this reason the lips dry out faster and can become chapped more easily. Lips should be regularly moisturized and protected from the sun.
Avon has a wide array of lipsticks. The following have SPF:
A lip plumper will make the lips appear fuller by increasing blood flow
Use a lip liner to even out shape
Use rich colors as long as you have used a lip liner to shape the lips
Don't use dark colors
Applying a gloss to the center of the lips will add depth
Small bowed lips -
Fill out the sides of the top lip slightly and even out the shape with lip liner
Your natural bow shape should be accentuated with liner.
Rich colors are best. Be careful with dark colors.
Wide lips -
Line lips on the inside of the lip line to play down the lips.
Emphasize the bow in the center of the top lip with lip liner.
Strong/deep colors on the lips can be too much and over power the eye color if you are wearing eye makeup.
Matte lipstick can make lips look flat. Using a gloss will give dept to the lips.
Mature lips -
Lighter colors are better if there is redness in the face. Some colors will enhance any redness in the face.
Use SPF lipstick
Take care of lips with Moisture Therapy Lip Care.
Choosing a lip Color
Light Skin: Lighter colors with brown beiges or pink look good.
Olive Skin:Light browns, brownish reds and raisin shades.
Dark Skin: Deep colors are great. Plums, wines and deep reds are very flattering.
No other cosmetic can punctuate your mood or express your personality like lipstick.
